The Open Book Author Cabaret a literary evening with a social twist. We launched this event in 2018, and it has been a huge hit! If you haven’t been to one yet, here’s what it is: It’s a cabaret authorfest, where a roster of talented authors willl take the mic to share their work. Thoughout the evening, you’ll hear readings in a variety of genres. In the setting of this beautiful historic stone church, which hosts numerous concerts, the venue will be set up nightclub style, and you’ll have a chance to chat and mix and mingle, interspersed with lively literary readings! This event is adult-only and BYO. Pretend you’re going to a picnic at the Mann Music Center and bring some goodies to enjoy while you listen to talented author perform their work!
“I heard some great authors, got to spend some time with my friends, and met some new neighbors!”
